All our therapists at The Room Massage Therapies, are fully qualified and highly experienced. We are recognised practitioners within a holistic therapy governing body, such as the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
We at The Room feel passionately about complementary therapies and provide a specialised, professional and therapeutic treatment.
Since being established in 2007, The Room Massage Therapies has gone from strength to strength.
Tracy Conlon, originally from Armagh, came to Belfast to study Biochemistry at Queens University. On completion of her degree, she enrolled in a VTCT Diploma in Swedish Massage, Advanced Massage and Anatomy and Physiology, for her own personal fun. She fell in love with massage and soon realised that she wanted to make it her way of life.
Having completed courses such as ITEC Indian Head Massage and ISTM Thai Foot Massage she was employed as a senior therapist in the 5* Culloden Estate and Spa. Here she excelled in ESPA training for Hot Stone treatments and body and facial treatments. She became a valuable employee of the highly acclaimed spa. Tracy went to study reflexology in Chrysalis school of reflexology and trained under Chris Hoey, life coach, teacher and practitioner of Traditional Thai Massage of 20+ years.
In 2007, Tracy began her new venture, ‘The Room, Massage Therapies’.
Since then, she has gone on to complete courses in myofascial release, pregnancy massage and stage 1&2 reiki.
Tracy has developed her style by incorporating deep tissue work with firm but gentle manipulation, acupressure and stretching. She uses the knowledge gained from her training and her 15+ years of practice and adapts her treatments accordingly to her clients requests and needs, focusing on the areas of tension and encouraging healing with the mind-body.

Niamh was introduced to the world of Massage at the very early age of 15, when her Dad required a Guinea pig for his training. In 2002, she went on to study an ITEC Level 3 course in Holistic Massage and began working in her mother’s Holistic Therapy Centre in Macroom, West Cork. She relocated to Belfast in 2011, and continues to this day practicing as a Holistic Massage therapist.
Niamh is a highly respected and much loved member of The Room team, she achieves extensive positive results from her large and ever expanding client base.
Besides massage, Niamh has a love for nutrition and yoga, she currently lives on a vegan diet and practices yoga daily.
Niamh’s Qualifications are;
ITEC level 3 Holistic Massage Therapy, Relflexology, On-Site Massage, Anatomy and Physiology, Diet and Nutrition, Deep Tissue Massage and Indian Head Massage.
Diploma Hot stone Therapy, Pregnancy Massage and Myfascial Release therapy.
Certified Infant Massage Instructor.
Niamh’s style is unique and one that she has adapted over her many years in practice. She combines Traditional Swedish, Thai, Myofascial and trigger point therapy along with stretch therapy in order to get the body to relax and heal.

Michael Roque is a fully qualified, certified and insured Holistic Massage Therapist and Reiki Master/Teacher. In 2009, he trained at Essentials for Health School of Massage in London and currently holds an ITEC and BTEC Level 4 Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology and Holistic Massage. He is also certified in Deep Tissue and Sports Massage, Hot Stones, Indian head and Aromatherapy Massage. In 2012, Michael achieved in becoming a Reiki Master.
Michael was interested in massage and complementary therapies from an early age, displaying a curiosity in healing and self help. He finally became accredited in 2009, but that was only the beginning.
After travelling and living in Canada, China, Southeast Asia and India, Michael then practiced as a therapist at a 5* Four Seasons Spa in Lisbon, Portugal and at clinics in London.
Michael has now settled down in Belfast, and is excited and happy to bring his experience to the people of Belfast. He hopes to be able to teach and show others how Massage and Reiki are capable of turning anyone’s life around for the better.

Emma got into massage inadvertently! She had been living in Canada, where she was working for a 100% natural body and skincare company. It was here, where she fell in love with everything to do with essential oils and aromatherapy. Emma came back to her native Belfast and undertook an ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy, Swedish and Holistic Massage.
5 years on, she joined The Room Massage Therapies in 2018, after owner Tracy told her that she definitely had the hands for it! She now treats her clients helping them deal with muscular pain and discomfort, headaches, stress and general relaxation.
She enjoys creating her own skincare products and aromatherapy treatment blends.
Emma is qualified in:
Aromatherapy, Holistic Body massage, Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, Indian Head massage, Hot and Cold Stone Therapy Massage and Pregnancy massage. Emma is currently undergoing a year long course in Reflexology

Travelling in Bali throughout 2017, sparked a renewed passion from Chelsea’s childhood dreams of becoming a massage therapist. Here, she came across many holistic retreats where she found that energy, harmony and balance coupled with the application of essential oils were the focus of their treatments. Upon returning to Belfast, Chelsea immediately began her journey in the world of holistic therapy. She continues to progress and develop her unique style of massage therapy whilst learning more advanced techniques and educating herself on the science behind formulating rejuvenating essential oil blends
Chelsea has a multitude of qualifications including Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue and Myofascial Massage, Hot and cold Stone Therapy Massage, Indian Head Massage, and Preblended Aromatherapy Massage.
Her massage ethos, is centred around bringing balance and harmony to the mind, body and spirit. By incorporating deep tissue and traditional Swedish technique with a twist of myofascial release, she strives to pass this onto her clients by releasing tension and promoting relaxation thus reducing emotional stress.
Chelsea focuses on her client’s wants and needs and adjusts pressure accordingly.

Lucy became a qualified meditation teacher and holistic therapist in 2008, after a career in suicide prevention, mental health, youth and social work.
She is qualified and gives treatments in Reflexology, Deep tissue Swedish massage, Hot stone therapy massage, and Ayurvedic Indian head massage. She is currently studying pregnancy massage, myofascial release and Life-coaching.
Lucy feels passionate about helping people to achieve optimum physical, emotional, spiritual health and wellbeing for inner balance, good health and vitality for life.
Her style is to provide a mindful massage combined with deep tissue work and relaxation to try and promote positive healing energy restoring harmony and balance, not just at a physical level, but also a spiritual and emotional level.
